The second object was thrown with a greater acceleration, than the first.

The first one was closer because you didnt put a high amount of force when you through it and the second one went farther because you put a strong force in it so it went farther

The first pencil you threw didn't have as much force as when you threw the second.

The first one did not have a lot of force and the second did have a lot of force so it went a lot farther than the one with not a lot of force.

The second one was thrown with a greater force so it went farther than the first one which you put less force on when you threw it.

The first one was closer because you through it with a small amount of force and the second one went farther because it was thrown with a bigger amount of force.
